Sep. 14th, 2008 @ 01:14 am Too poor to buy vegetables
For the last few months I've been eating only organic raw fruits and vegetables.  That diet cost (conservatively)about three hundred bucks a month.  This month I had only eighty dollars for food, so I've been eating beans, rice, and pasta.  I can feel the difference; I'm tired, I've got headaches, and I'm dehydrated.  I'm hungry all the time, in a different way than when I was eating raw.  Now it's more thirst than hunger - like my stomach is suffocating.
